Alison Pritchard - Director
Alison started dancing at the age of 3 at the Hammond School of Dance, Chester, before moving to London at the age of 18 to join the London Studio Centre's Classical Graduate Course. In 1998 Alison joined the Images of Dance Company on their national tour: within this company she performed works by George Balanchine and Adam Cooper. Alison moved on to perform as a classical ballet dancer with the National Dance Company of Ireland on their European tour.
After moving to Bath, Alison began teaching a local schools around the area, before creating Little Dancers in 2012.
An active member of Bath Light Operatic Group and Bath Operatic and Dramatic Society, Alison performs and choreographs shows regularly at the Theatre Royal Bath. The most recent shows include 'Sister Act'and 'Sweet Charity', both of which Alison choreographed and perform in.
Alison lives in Bath with her husband and 2 football mad boys.
Lizzie started dancing at the age of 3 and has trained in many different dance styles including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and commercial.
She has been performing with various theatre groups for over 18 years in many different theatres across the country. Credits include Bet in Oliver! (Theatre Royal, Bath), Little Girl in The Witches of Eastwick (Theatre Royal, Bath), Marta in The Sound of Music (Theatre Royal, Bath), Woodstock in Snoopy! the musical (Rondo Theatre, Bath) and Ensemble in Cirque (The Orchard Theatre, Dartford). Lizzie has performed in three professional pantomimes at the Theatre Royal, Bath including Mother Goose (UK Productions), Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (UK Productions) and understudied the part of Wendy in Peter Pan (UK Productions).
In 2008, Lizzie played the part of Gabriella in the High School Musical show on the FantasyLand Stage in Disneyland Paris!
At the age of 19, Lizzie then went onto train at the prestigious Bird College of Performing Arts in London, where she continued to learn various different skills such as acting, singing and musical theatre.
Lizzie is excited to be joining the Little Dancers team to share her passion along side Alison and team!
Sophie started dance lessons in Ballet, Tap and Modern/Jazz at the age of two, before going on to take singing and drama lessons just a few years later. She eventually went on to train professionally in Musical Theatre at Performance Preparation Academy, Guildford.
After graduating Sophie worked as professional Singer/Dancer/Actor, both in England and abroad.
Sophie has worked for various Dance/Stage Schools over the years and is thrilled to be joining the Little Dancers team, working alongside Alison who she met 10 years ago when they performed together in a production of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at The Theatre Royal Bath.
Emma Drewett RAD RTS is an experienced, enthusiastic teacher who is dedicated to passing on her passion and skills to others. Emma has a good understanding of dance as she has loved dancing since starting Ballet aged three. Emma then went on to study Jazz and Modern dance at advanced levels in all of these dance subjects.
After completing her A Levels (including dance), Emma auditioned for several dance schools and accepted an offer into the Northern Ballet School's three - year performer's course.
After realising that she truly wanted to pass on her passion and skills to others by teaching dance, she enrolled on the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies Course at the Royal Academy of Dance in London and graduated in November 2010.
In 2012, Emma founded and ran her own dance school in London, Dance4Life which specialised in offering tuition in Ballet and Modern (for children and adults). In the same year Emma became a licensed Zumba Fitness instructor and in 2015 achieved her Diploma in dance Teaching Instruction in Modern Theatre Dance. After deciding to relocate to the Bath area in 2017, Emma is continuing to teach and is passionate about supporting the arts in the local community.
